Exercise or Energy Medicine
67In 2010, my husband and I stumbled across two appealing lifestyle's. The first was the vegan/vegetarian and second, sustainable apartment living. The discovery came about largely because we had both retired, on purpose, from our normal jobs. There was time to dive into the world news, and truly read websites offering insight into those areas, that were only mentioned in brief by others around town.
The vegan/vegetarian lifestyle helped us to recognize the products not agreeing with our body. And we knew it didn't agree since our energy sky rocketed, skin got healthier, and general health was increasing mega fold. In order to make sure we obtained the essentials, without having to take substitutes, we discovered a chart online that allowed for the user to plug-in the daily food consumptions. Helpful and a pain in the bottom to remember, or write, the foods; however, this was helping us with our sustainable and green living changes.
Though the impression was there that our place was pretty 'green' – we found we could a few things differently. The different things involved unplugging lights when not in use, recycle trash (which they shut down the bins, three months into it), and filling the freezer with newspaper. Eating green. Living green.
Energy Opened
The year of changing our eating habits and sustainable choices resulted in energy shifts. The energy shifts began to reflect our eagerness to express creatively. While we thought we were expressing our fullness, it wasn't nearly the beginning.
In reaching out to the world online, I began searching for “others” into spirituality, and what are the tools. Sure there were a few websites here and there, but many were just mirror sites and no contributions from 'real folks'. My husband just went with the flow and tried to reach out too. Our discovery about Richmond – just more and more talk. The festivals are great to attend, but the follow through left you wondering if it was just marketing. (Of course part of that was … just marketing.)
Encouraged by the discoveries of all the energy shifts – I wasn't going to give up. Online there were huge discoveries and one of the biggest was the work of Donna Eden.

Energy Medicine
Energy medicine is not exactly the thought you may have popping up in your mind's-eye now. It doesn't require you to see an energy practitioner, speak words, burn a candle/incense, meditate, or listen to chatting. Energy medicine is what every human being is beginning to realize: you can do your own energy medicine, and more with your uniqueness.
There is a whole field of science and well-being beginning to emerge on the energy medicine front. One of the leading practitioners, Donna Eden.
Coming across the work of Donna Eden helped to bring a greater balance of green living and sustainable living. What I discovered boiled down to understanding why the guidance came forward to flush and heal the body.
The guidance: the body is the vehicle taking us through our lessons of life – especially the one to relearn joy. To be joy. To live joy. To express joy. To love what you do, and who you are.
And this is not complicated, even if there is no interest in metaphysics, sustainable green living or becoming vegetarian. All of those things helped – this is just part of my story to share. :)
How does the body help in becoming joy? By being healthy. Moving the body with exercise and learning the body.
Donna Eden has a great five-minute video to use on the net for resetting the energy of the body. Whenever the energy is slipping and tiredness setting in, instead of eating/drinking or exercising, she teaches in the video how to aid the body in waking up. The meridian information and nervous system information is a wealth of knowledge in and of itself since it is the basis of the work.
The work of Donna Eden has been verified by science, for all the science and medical readers.

As someone who has practiced Reiki since the 1990s and recently began the path toward certification in Healing Touch, I applaud this article as timely, appropriate, IMPORTANT and generally all-around awesome!
We are powerful, spiritual beings but have been "taught" to disregard our innate healing abilities.
